Remark/Remarkable: Women of Words, A Festival of Taos Women Writers As part of the 2012 Remarkable Women of Taos Celebration

Mabel Dodge Luhan House, Taos, NM, April 14, 2012, 10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Dora joins this event showcasing over 40 of Taos’s women writers. The event opens with a welcome to the writers and audience by Liz Cunningham, coordinator of the vast array of Remarkable Women of Taos events scheduled throughout the year. Veronica Golos, the curator of the day’s festival, will host.

Award-winning poets Dora McQuaid, Erin Bad Hand, Veronica Golos, Sawnie Morris, Leslie Ullman and Lise Goett, notable novelists Summer Wood and Lara Santaro, young spoken-word poets from the various high schools, award-winning non-fiction writers Bonnie Lee Black and Cherie Burns, and many others, as well as music by Melissa Crabtree and Tenney Walsh.

Dora is honored and proud to headline the SHOWCASE from 11:15-12 Noon with award-winning poet and dear friend, Erin Bad Hand.
